SPA 400 - Internship in Spanish (1-3 semester hours)

Select Spanish or Spanish Education majors may apply to become a teaching assistant for the language lab sections for SPA 101 - Elementary Spanish I with lab (4 semester hours) and SPA 102 - Elementary Spanish II with lab (4 semester hours). Internship includes weekly lab sessions and frequent meetings with coordinating Spanish faculty, as well as additional responsibilities. The out-of-classroom coursework must involve a minimum of 50 contact hours of educational activity for each semester hour of credit to be awarded.

Pre-requisites: SPA 310 - Composition and Conversation, application process, and consent.
