ENG 370 - Shakespeare Semester Hours: 3 Shakespearean drama—representative comedies, histories, tragedies, and romances—within the cultural context of the 1590s and early 1600s. In addition to addressing such literary topics as genre, characterization, and theme, the instructor will approach the plays as scripts for performance. Films and attendance at a theatrical performance supplement the in-class discussion.
Pre-requisites: one 200-level English (ENG) course, junior standing, or consent.
Offered: Fall, odd years.
