Lakeland University Home Campus Undergraduate students:

  • Students attending mostly day, in person, programs at the home campus typically attend fall, spring with summer as an optional semester.
  • Enrollment in twelve (12) semester hours is considered a full-time student workload for various compliance and eligibility standards. Lakeland’s full-time tuition rate applies for enrollment of twelve to eighteen (12-18) semester hours during fall and spring terms.

Lakeland University Center Location Undergraduate Students:

  • Students typically attend online, or in other modalities, mostly in the evening during the fall, spring and summer as required semesters.

Summer Undergraduate Enrollment Classification

  • All students may enroll in any of the 12 or 7-week course offerings in the summer semester in a variety of delivery formats both at the home campus or center locations.  All students pay a course rate per credit policy for course tuition and fees and must petition to overload for 19-21 credits hours in one term.
  • Students who have not yet reached transfer limit thresholds may transfer up to twelve (12) semester hours of coursework from summer classes taken at another college in any one year. Students who plan to transfer work from another college during the summer must notify the Office of the Registrar of that intent and complete all forms and arrangements before the end of the spring term. Grades earned in transferred courses are not included in the official Lakeland University GPA.
