  • The second degree must have a different degree designation than the prior degree (M.A., M.B.A., M.Ed., M.M. or M.S.).
  • Students must complete a minimum amount of semester hours at Lakeland University to meet residency requirements for the second degree. The minimum number of semester hours required for residency differs by degree as follows and is aligned with our transfer policies:

    • M.Ed. - 27 semester hours
    • M.M. - 25 semester hours

  • Students must earn a Lakeland University overall GPA of at least 3.0 or better to earn a graduate degree.
  • Both degrees (if both earned at Lakeland) are annotated on the academic transcript with separate degree conferral dates.

*A degree or degree(s) will not be rescinded, retroactively awarded or altered once conferred.
